Why I Started Cozibubs: A Mum's Story

There's a moment every new mum knows well, standing in a shop, baby on your hip, searching for something that feels just right. Not too scratchy. Not too stiff. Something soft enough for delicate skin, practical enough for messy days, and beautiful enough to actually want to put on your little one.

For me, that moment kept happening over and over, and I kept leaving empty-handed.

The Winter That Changed Everything

When my daughter started teething during the colder months, I was on a mission. She needed something to catch the drool (because teething is relentless), keep her neck warm, and not irritate her already sensitive skin.

I searched everywhere. What I found were bibs that were either purely functional with no thought for comfort, or cute but made from fabrics that felt rough against her skin. Nothing felt like it was truly designed with babies  , and mums in mind.

So I decided to make it myself.

Building Cozibubs from Scratch

I started small. Testing fabrics. Trying different designs. Asking other mums what they actually needed. I wanted every piece to pass what I called the "cuddle test" — if it didn't feel lovely to hold and wear, it wasn't good enough.

The name came naturally. Cozi for the warmth and comfort I wanted every baby to feel. Bubs  because that's what we call our little ones here in Australia. 🥰

What Cozibubs Stands For Today

Every product in the Cozibubs collection is made with the same intention I had from day one: thoughtfully designed essentials that keep little ones warm and comfortable, while giving parents peace of mind.

Because parenting is already full of hard decisions. Choosing something soft, safe and beautiful for your baby shouldn't be one of them.
